My story
Originally from the Los Angeles suburb of West Covina, CA, I am the oldest of 7 kids. I grew up in love with movies and spent much of my youth performing in theater and choir. I briefly attended university with the goal of becoming a teacher, but dropped out when I understood I had no patience for bureaucracy.
At the age of 26 I had two life changing moments.
First, I read The 4 Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris. This inspired me to one day start a business that would allow me to travel the world.
Second, I ended up living in my car on the streets of Long Beach, CA after a failed 2 year engagement. I could have gone home to my parents, but instead I chose to figure out how to survive on my own.
Over the next 2.5 years I would lose 50lbs, complete a sprint triathlon, get married, travel around the US, and start a business.
In 2017 my wife and I packed up our two daughters and became full-time digital nomads. We traveled around Europe for 9 months, eventually ending up in Tallinn, Estonia in 2018. Since then we’ve had 3 more children; a boy and twin girls. Aside from the cold, we love Estonia and the life we can provide our family here.
These days, when I’m not working, you’ll find me playing board games with my buddies, watching the latest film release at the cinema, or sipping a fancy cocktail at a secret bar.
